Neuromuscular toxins are used for smoothing deep, persistent lines and wrinkles that develop over time. Neurotoxins like Botox Cosmetic® and Jeuveau® are injectables derived from a family of neurotoxins that prevent nerve signals in muscles from contracting; they relax the facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. To ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible during the procedure, your Forefront dermatologist will apply ice or a topical anesthesia to numb the treatment areas. Within 24 to 48 hours, you’ll notice a significant reduction of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. Full results can be expected within one week. Your results will last for approximately four months as the ingredients are broken down and absorbed by the body.
